Vendor Ordering Guide

This guide covers how to place orders with our three product vendors. Purchase orders are automatically created in SalonBiz when you order from Comfort Zone or Jane Iredale. For Aveda, use SalonBiz directly.


Aveda

Ordering through SalonBiz (recommended)

  1. Open SalonBiz Central and go to Products > Orders
  2. Click "New Purchase Order" and select Aveda as the vendor
  3. Search and add the products you need with quantities
  4. Click "Export Purchase Order" - this sends the order directly to Aveda
  5. Done! The PO stays in SalonBiz and Aveda ships the order

If you order directly on avedaeo.com

  1. Download the order CSV from Aveda EO after placing your order
  2. Go to the Handbook Manager page at /manager/add-products
  3. Click the "Purchase Order" tab
  4. Select Aveda as the vendor and upload the CSV file
  5. Click "Upload & Match Products" then review and click "Create PO"

Comfort Zone

How to Order

  1. Go to professionalstore.comfortzoneskin.com and log in
  2. Browse products and place your order as usual
  3. That's it! A purchase order is automatically created in SalonBiz within 10 minutes
  4. You'll see the PO under Products > Orders in SalonBiz Central

What happens behind the scenes

  • Comfort Zone emails an order confirmation with an XLS file attached
  • Our system detects the email, downloads the attachment, and creates the PO automatically
  • VAT and shipping are included in the PO total

Jane Iredale

How to Order

  1. Go to pro.janeiredale.com and log in
  2. Place your order through the Order Online catalog
  3. That's it! When the invoice email arrives, a purchase order is automatically created in SalonBiz within 10 minutes
  4. You'll see the PO under Products > Orders in SalonBiz Central

What happens behind the scenes

  • Jane Iredale emails an invoice PDF when the order ships
  • Our system detects the email, parses the PDF, and creates the PO automatically
  • Each invoice creates a separate PO with all line items matched

Important Notes

  • All POs appear in SalonBiz under Products > Orders
  • Duplicate orders are automatically prevented - the system won't create the same PO twice
  • If a PO looks wrong, you can Void it in SalonBiz and the system won't recreate it
  • When an order arrives, click "Receive" on the PO in SalonBiz to update inventory
