We have a packed house today, and yesterday was quite busy with online booking and gift card links back in action. I'm glad to see us filled and ready to work! It's Father's Day weekend, so be ready for some last-minute bookings and people getting ready for the holiday. We're off to a great start of the summer!
First, thank you for the energy you bring through that door every morning. Our guests feel it the second they walk in, and it's the reason they come back. Let's keep that in the front of our mind today.
I want to start with retail and homecare. After every service, walk your guest through the retail space and place the products you used directly in their hands. Open the testers, let them try it, let them experience it. If they want to leave feeling the way they do today, a homecare routine is how they keep that going at home. This isn't a hard sell; it's part of taking care of them.
A reminder on our stations and common areas. Keeping everything clean and tidy is a group effort and a shared responsibility, not just the person working the station. Please do a full wipe-down and visual sweep before and after every client. Color stays where it belongs, foil goes straight into the trash, and the shampoo area stays spotless. These are the exact things State Board flags the moment they walk in, and they will fine us on the spot.
On reviews and word of mouth. We've been staying on top of responding to our guest reviews, and it's making a difference. A guest is glowing about their experience before they leave; invite them to share it in a review. The best marketing we have is the experience we give people in this building.
Let's stay present with every guest today. Greet them warmly, confirm what they came in for, and check in before they leave to make sure they're happy. A solid rebook and the right home care are the two best things we can send them out the door with.
